Inside the church, a beautiful 18th century room is revealed where some of the ancient sacred furniture has been placed. The walls are decorated with refined plaster frames, rococò style, attributed to Francesco Maria Arrighi, with paintings inside them which are dedicated to Saint Vitale, done in 1760 by Innocenzo Ansaldi. On the walls of the presbytery there is 'Il martirio di San Vitale' (The martyr of Saint Vitale), his sons, 'San Gervasio' (Saint Gervasio) and 'San Protasio' (Saint Protasio) and his wife 'Santa Valeria' (Saint Valeria).
On the main altar there is a painted tablet from 1510 by Bernardino Signoraccio from Pistoia, representing a 'Sacra Conversazione con San Sebastiano e San Vitale' (Sacred Conversation with Saint Sebastian and Saint Vitale). The painting was commisioned by the Prior Giovanni Battista Curradi, represented on his knees near to the Virgin. To the right of the altar, a large wooden crucifix from the 17th century is set and to the left of the altar, there is a tablet with the 'Natività della Vergine' (Nativity of the Virgin), finished in the second half of the 16th century by Sebastiano Vini from Verona. In 1761 an organ by Pietro Agati was placed in a wooden chancel above the main door.
